Empowering Change Through Youth-Led, Community-Driven Initiatives
At Yendi Youth Connect (YYC), we lead youth-led initiatives in Ghana that respond to the real needs of our people. Rooted in the heart of the Yendi Municipality, our programs are built with and for young people—amplifying their voices to drive sustainable, grassroots change.
Through our five thematic pillars, we implement community-driven programs that deliver critical impact—from clean water and climate action to leadership development and cultural preservation. These efforts not only align with key Ghana development goals, but also uplift women, marginalized groups, and vulnerable communities across Northern Ghana.

Integrated Programs That Transform Lives in Yendi
Yendi Youth Connect delivers change through five interconnected thematic areas that reflect the real needs of youth, women, and communities in Northern Ghana—ensuring every intervention is holistic, inclusive, and sustainable.
At YYC, we equip youth with knowledge, purpose, and voice. Our education and leadership training in Ghana helps young people develop critical thinking, civic responsibility, and communication skills. Through school-based clubs, digital literacy, and mentorship, we create safe spaces for growth and self-expression.
Economic empowerment is key to breaking cycles of poverty. We deliver youth skills training in Northern Ghana, especially for young women and teen mothers, through women’s entrepreneurship programs, vocational skills development, and business coaching. Our goal: self-reliance, confidence, and financial independence.
Our climate action projects in Ghana mobilize local youth to restore ecosystems and mitigate the effects of environmental degradation. From tree planting and land restoration to clean energy campaigns, we’re growing a greener, more resilient Yendi.
YYC’s WASH programs in rural communities ensure access to clean water, proper sanitation, and hygiene education. We promote menstrual health education in Ghana, train hygiene champions, and engage faith-based platforms to improve health outcomes across underserved areas.
Culture, Arts & Sustainable Tourism
We believe that preserving Ghanaian culture is essential to identity and pride. YYC promotes youth-led storytelling, arts, and heritage tourism in collaboration with local chiefs. Through this program, culture becomes a tool for unity and economic growth.
